The second volume of the collection features an arrangement of two of Vinícius de Moraes' most beautiful and emotional productions: Samba em prelúdio and Soneto do amor total, a song full of love co-written with Baden Powell in 1962 and a sonnet from 1951, respectively. As for Samba em preludio, it is the masterpiece that Chopin forgot to compose, as “o poetinha” himself jokingly told to Baden the day they wrote it. It is, indeed, one of the most important collaborations between the two of them and it has been covered by a number of different artists, such as Toquinho, Maria Creuza, Chico Buarque and Quarteto em Cy, among many others.
